Kelsey Megan Whittenburg, age 25, a Van Buren County native, born on October 7, 1996 and passed away Friday December 10, 2021 at her home in the Fall Creek Falls Community. She was a graduate of Van Buren County High School Class of 2015, she attended New Martin Church of God and was involved in the transformation ministries. She enjoyed Listening to music and drawing.
Kelsey was preceded in death by her grandfather & adopted father; Elbert Whittenburg of the Fall Creek Falls and several uncles and aunts.
Kelsey is survived by her grandmother & adopted mother; Gladys Walker Whittenburg of Fall Creek Falls, mother; Shirley (Ronnie) Oakes of Spencer, father; Ray Tullos of Nashville, sister; Makayla (Matthew) Van Winkle of Spencer, brothers; Sineka Hollingsworth of Nashville, Richard Reed of Columbus, GA, Christopher Creasman of Dayton, uncle; Tim (Zaroki) Whittenburg of Columbus, OH, special aunt & uncle; Diane and Bruce Hale of Pikeville, nieces; Arianna and Lydia Van Winkle of Spencer, cousins; Ashlyn and Layla Hale. Great-aunts, great-uncles, and extended family also survives.
Funeral services will be Thursday December 16, 2021 at 2:00pm at New Martin Church of God with Bro Andy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Myers Cemetery. Visitation times are Wednesday December 15th 11:00am to 9:00pm and Thursday December 16th 9:00am till time of service at 2:00pm.
