Kelly Walden – Obituary

Kelly Walden, 45, of Killen died Sunday, January 1, 2017, at his residence.
Mr. Walden was a native of Florence. He attended Brooks High School, Auburn University in Montgomery, and Troy University in Montgomery. He was a member of Killen United Methodist Church. He was a computer “Geek”. His children were the light of his life. He was an avid backpacker and hiker, and loved hiking the Appalachian Trails and Bankhead Forest with his dad.
Kelly was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hassel and Sula Bailey and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kelly and Virginia Walden, Sr.
He is survived by his daughter, Bailey Walden; son, Chandler Walden; parents, Pete and Connie Walden; sisters, Beth Walden Britton (Rob) and Deborah Walden (Toby Ball); nieces and nephews, Robert and Sam Britton and Jake and Sadie Ball; cousins, John Bailey and Jennifer Bailey Stokes; aunt and uncle, Janet and Johnny Bailey.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
