Kellie Lynn (Nader) Carden, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend. passed away suddenly on May 21, 2023.

Kellie was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 4, 1970. She graduated from Upper St. Clair High School as a National Merit Scholarship Quarter Finalist. She went on to attend the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL earning both a BS in Biochemistry and an MS in Molecular Biology. She later earned her JD from the George Washington University Law School in Washington DC.

Kellie started her career as a research scientist at the National Cancer Institute in Washington DC. After law school, she utilized this experience to become an Intellectual Properties Attorney for over twenty years. For the past eight years she has held the position of Senior Patent and Trademark Council for Roche Tissue Diagnostics in Tucson, AZ.

Kellie was married to Steven Carden since 2001. They had two children together, William (Bill) and Robert (Bob). She loved traveling, hiking, bike riding, and spending time with her boys. She especially loved animals, the outdoors, and our National Parks. Kellie was also a devoted and avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

Along with her husband Steve, and her sons Bill and Bob, Kellie is survived by her brothers Jeffrey Nader and Jason (Jeanne) Nader; her sister Valerie (Michael) McConnell; her nieces, Marie, and Anna; as well as many close friends coworkers.

Kellie is preceded in death by her parents Marlyn (Smith) and Kenneth Nader of Pittsburgh, PA.

She will be truly missed.
