Kellie Alvis Stewert

Kellie Alvis Stewert of Shelbyville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday.  She was 53.  Kellie grew up in Nashville and graduated from Antioch High School. and then worked in office administration where she was gifted with working with computers.  She was a Christian and was faithfully involved in serving the Lord through her church and enjoyed working in women’s recovery ministry.

She will be remembered for her kindness, always looking for the best in others, and for her love for her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jason Stewert; her father, Carl “Jack” Alvis; Her brother, Scott Wilson.

Surviving family members include her son, Josh Tidwell and his wife, Erica;  Her grandsons: Colt and Caleb Tidwell; Her granddaughter, Christianna Tidwell;  Her mother, Loraine Tate Alvis;  Her siblings: DeWayne Alvis, Tammy Craiger, and Terry Grigsby. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends an hour before the service.  Burial will follow the service and will be in Flint River Cemetery.
