SHEFFIELD-Danielle Taylor was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Alabama Association of Health
Information Management (AAHIM). Danielle will serve as 1st year Director on the board.
The AAHIM is a community of professionals engaged in health information management in Alabama, which serves to support its members and strengthen the industry and profession. The purpose of AAHIM is to provide continuing education programs; to serve as a liaison with health related agencies, governmental agencies, and other health care disciplines; to promote events and achievements of the association and its members; to provide a registry of credential medical record practitioners, and to disseminate information about the Health Information Management profession to prospective students. AAHIM is a state organization affiliated with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
Danielle has been employed with Helen Keller Hospital since 2011 as Medical Records Director/Privacy Officer. She has been a member of AAHIM since 1999. She previously served as the chair of the AAHIM Credentials Committee.
Danielle and her husband, Mark, have two children, Bryson and Hayden.
