Keith LeRoy Robson passed away February 27, 2022, at his Huntsville, Alabama home. Mr. Robson was born March 19, 1943, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Thomas B. and Clare O. Robson.
He attended Burley High School in Burley, Idaho, graduating in 1961. He served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964 at Redstone Arsenal as a ballistic missile technician. Following his discharge, he attended the University of Idaho, graduating in 1969 with a degree in history.
After college he accepted a position as a history teacher at Grissom High School in Huntsville, Alabama, and continued as a teacher and counselor at Stone and Huntsville Middle Schools until his retirement.
He was married to Marsha Haywood Robson June 18, 1988.
Second only to his great pleasure in teaching and counseling his students over the years, he loved playing tennis and golf and continued to do so into retirement. He was an avid reader and visited Huntsville Public Library several times a week.
Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha, and his stepdaughter, Erin Camille Jackson.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Melinda Haywood DeMuch of The Villages, Florida; his sister-in-law, Phyllis Haywood Hammack and husband, Jim, of Pass Christian, Mississippi; nephew, Scott Hammack (Alexandra Dudley) of Portland, Oregon; niece, Catherine Hammack-Aviran (Hila Aviran) of Nashville, Tennessee; and niece, Ann Elyse DeMuch of Los Angeles, California.
At his request, no services will be held. There will be a private interment at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville.
