Funeral service for Keith Bishop, 85, will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Dobbs officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Bishop died on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at UAB Hospital. He was born February 23, 1937, in Nebraska, to Jeff Wallace Bishop and Helen Maybell Bostwic Bishop.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran, retiring with 20 years of service in the military and after serving in the Vietnam War. He loved his family dearly. He was married to his lifetime love, Fran, for 67 1/2 years.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Karen Bishop and a granddaughter: Tosha Buckland and his parents.
