Keisha Monroe
July 7, 1983 – May 11, 2024
Keisha went to be with her lord and savior at the age of 40, on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at UAB where she was surrounded by friends and family. Keisha was an amazing mother and wife. She was very strong in her faith. Dedicated member at Congregational Holiness Church of Weaver, where she was the church secretary. She has over 20 years in banking. She would share the word of God everywhere she went. To know her was to love her. Her kindness, laughter, and smile would light up the heavens. Always had a positive attitude and a kind word for everyone she would meet.
Keisha loved to spend her time with her husband, son, and family. She loved working out, visiting the beach, drawing, and Tik tok, and loving on her dog Piper. We all will cherish the great times and memories we have with this special, one of a kind woman. You will be truly missed.
Keisha is survived by her husband, Rob Monroe, and her son Garner Monroe. She is also survived by her parents, Johnny (Sandy) Bonds, and Kim (Jack) Leggett, her mother-in-law Judy Monroe and her father-in-law Robert Monroe. Her siblings, Matthew Bonds, tiffany Bonds, Ashley Leggett, Hannah Leggett, and Alexis Leggett. Her nephews Colby Madison, Halo Nelson, and Gavin Green. Her uncles, Kelly Cross and Randy Harcrow, and her aunts, Kristy “KiKi” Upton, and Joanne “JoJo” Harcrow.
