THE SHOALS-Have a litter problem in your neighborhood, a county road, or your place of business? Keep the Shoals Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, is now providing free “Thank You for Not Littering” signs to help reduce debris in high traffic locations. Each sign comes with a wire ground mount and can be picked up at the Shoals Chamber of Commerce, located at 20 Hightower Place in Florence, Alabama.
“Our goal is to cover a wide swath of the Shoals with these signs and raise awareness of the importance of keeping the Shoals beautiful, not only for those who live and work here, but for visitors to our area who may be considering relocating here to start a business or raise a family,” said Keep the Shoals Beautiful Director Chelsea Kauchick.
Keep the Shoals Beautiful currently has 300 signs available for the public. To request multiple signs, please contact the Shoals Chamber at 256-764-4661.
