FLORENCE- Mayor Andrew Betterton, City of Florence Council Members, and the Florence Forward Sustainability Committee are excited to launch Keep Florence Beautiful. The City of Florence will join more than 700 national affiliates including Keep Alabama Beautiful, Keep The Tennessee River Beautiful, and Keep the Shoals Beautiful to foster a Cleaner, Greener, More Beautiful Community. Denise Taylor with Keep Alabama Beautiful will be here on November 9 to complete our training and present certification! The training will include a virtual component from Grace Keegan with Keep America Beautiful from the national home office. The celebration will be held in the dining room area at “The Club.” We will debut the new walking track for the senior center made from recycled pavement and launch a “Get Caught Recycling” Right Campaign for the holiday season.
