1877575_profile_picFuneral service for Kayleigh Blair McClendon age, 7, will be Friday November 18, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church in Decatur, AL with Dr. Rob Jackson officiating with burial in the Roselawn Cemetery and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday November 17, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church

Kayleigh, who was born May 13, 2009 in Birmingham, AL. died November 15, 2016, at her home after a six-month battle with cancer. She attended Crestline Elementary School in Hartselle, AL and was loved by many. She loved church, softball, kitty cats, butterflies, friends, family, the color purple and most importantly, Jesus.

 

Kayleigh’s life may seem too short to many, but to those of us who were touched by her precious life, valiant battle, and beautiful faith, we know that God’s plan was perfected in Kayleigh’s life. The legacy of hope and faith she leaves behind will continue to touch people around the world for many years to come. She is preceded in death by her aunt, Donna Nancarrow Metcalf, and cousin, Eli Caleb Rabb.

 

She is survived by her loving parents, Tim and ‘Carrow McClendon
