Kayla Jaclynn Baggett, age 32, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Friday, January 5th in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Bro. Billy Vogel and Bro. Sam Andavazo officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery with Jonathan Hayes, Beau Baggett, Matt Chowning, Tracen Baggett, Trace Crockett, and Trent Crockett serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Thursday, and again from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm Friday, at the funeral home.
Kayla was born December 4, 1991, in Springfield and worked as the Front Desk Receptionist at the VIP Childrens Clinic.
Ms. Baggett was preceded in death by a son, Kreed Joseph Hayes; and a grandfather, Jackie Sneed Baggett Sr.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Jonathan Hayes; son, Kaydeum Jack Baggett; daughter, Kenver Jaylene Baggett; father, Jackie (Darla Carter) Baggett Jr.; mother, Christy (Brian Keith) Clinard; brother, Beau Francis Baggett; sister, Madison Baggett and her fiancé Matt Chowning; grandparents, Jean Lawrence, David and Jackie Poole, and Mike and Bridges Albright; a nephew, Waylon Chowning; and several aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for Kayla’s children.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
