Kaye Marlene Tiedt Profile PhotoKaye Marlene Tiedt, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away on November 25, 2023, at her home.

Born September 5, 1939, in Bancroft, Michigan to Clifford and Verne Williams. She graduated from Morris High School and attended Central Michigan University. She ultimately pursued a career as a hairdresser. She added “homemaker” to her resume’ when she met and married the love of her life, Maurice “Mo” Tiedt (deceased June 15, 2020). They lived together in several states in their nearly 60 years of marriage including Michigan, New York, Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee. She earned her title of “Mom” along the way with the birth of their three children. Family, friends and faith were at the center of their lives. She and Mo enjoyed RV travel in their retirement. She was a talented seamstress and gardening was a favorite hobby that she pursued up to her final days.

We are comforted in the belief that she and Dad are now reunited in eternity. She will be dearly missed by her children Kelly (Tim) Wiechers, Jeff Tiedt and Dan Tiedt as well as grandchildren Ashe (Devin) Wright, Delaney Tiedt and Cooper Tiedt and great grandchildren Taison and Kailer Wright. She will also be missed by many dear friends and extended family members.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for later in December, details to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2494 Nashville Hwy, Columbia, TN 38401 .
