Kay Patterson Green died at home in Rising Fawn, Georgia, December 10, 2017. She was a faithful Christian, wife, mother, and lifelong teacher in Dade County, Georgia. She was born in Rogersville, Alabama on September 6, 1945.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaston Torrance “Jack” and Odessa Fike Patterson.
Surviving family members include her husband of 49 years, Gaston Virgil Green Jr.; sons, John Marc Green (Mimi) and Brent Patterson Green (Deborah); brother, Marc L. Patterson (Myra); and grandson, John Emmanuel “Jack” Green.
Visitation will be Friday, December 15th, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton, Georgia. Second visitation will be Saturday, December 16th, from noon to 1 p.m. with funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial to follow in Lake Hills Memorial Cemetery in Trenton.
