In her life on earth, she was a loving wife, Mama and Nana. She loved God, Jesus, her family and friends with all she had. She was a hard worker from a very early age and worked continuously throughout her life up until the last week of her life. She loved church, traveling, spending time with her family and grandbabies, sewing, embroidering, quilting and making special gifts for those that she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rayphard and Verdie Mae Barnett; brother, Jimmy Barnett; and sister, Myra Barnett.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Wendell Gann; her children, Shane Cagle, Stephanie Hamm (Jeff), Jason Gann (Heather), Josh Gann (Courtni); bonus sons, Brad Norris and Ted Clark; grandchildren, Kesley Tackett, Skyler Tackett, Braylon Hamm, Aiden Hamm, Mia Gann Baker, MaKayla Gann, Jackson Clark, Katie Clark, Andy Clark, Lincoln Gann, Ella Gann, and one great-granddaughter, Baylor Seal. Her first great-grandson is due in December.

Visitation will be held at Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 12noon – 1pm with the funeral service following at 1pm. Interment will be in East Franklin Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shane Cagle, Jason Gann, Josh Gann, Brad Norris, Skyler Tackett and Jeff Hamm. Honorary pallbearers will be Braylon Hamm, Aiden Hamm, Lincoln Gann, Andy Clark, Jackson Clark and Ted Clark.

“Mama carried us our entire lives and it is now our honor and privilege to carry her.”
