Katie Robertson, born Ina Elizabeth Littlejohn, 93,of Arab, AL, died on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at her residence. She was born June 11, 1929 in Union County, MS, to birth parents Thomas Walker Littlejohn and Ina Elizabeth Pannell Littlejohn who died in childbirth. She was raised by Johnny Fred Roberts and Vista Inez Pannell Roberts. She was married to Ellis Doyle Robertson for 50 years before he preceded her in death.
She was a faithful member of Central Park Baptist Church in Decatur, AL, where she lived 50 years before moving to Arab, Al in 2014. After moving to Arab, she attended Arab First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by all 4 parents, her husband, and most of her siblings: Arlis Littlejohn, Cleveland Littlejohn, Thomas Littlejohn Junior, Marvon Littlejohn, Marlton Littlejohn , Dorothy Frederick, Nadine Harris, Ileen Fleming, Maxine Shinall, Eleanor Clark, and Margaret McCraw, all of MS.
She is survived by 4 children: Norma Bolander of Fayetteville, TN, Ray (Rose) Robertson of Jasper, AL, Pat (Wayne) Tanev of Arab, AL, and Jerry (Fran) Robertson of Arab, AL; 7 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Surviving siblings are Elaine Medders and Avalon Littlejohn of MS, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Ina Elizabeth (Katie) Littlejohn Robertson will be held at Ridout-Brown Funeral Home chapel in Decatur, AL on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2 p.m., with visitation from 1-2 p.m. Officiating the services will be Bro. Craig Carlisle & Bro. Ken Bush. Graveside service to follow at adjoining Roselawn Cemetery.
