Katie Louise Basinger departed this life on November 17, 2016 in Savannah, TN at the age of 74 Years, 7 Months, 27 Days. She was born March 21, 1942 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Lessie T. and Amy Scott Dunaway. She was retired from Selmer Pawn Shop.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa R. Wood and husband Stanley Wood of Clifton, TN; two sons, Bruce Basinger of Selmer, TN, Wayne Basinger of Selmer, TN; two grandchildren, Drew A. Hunt of Savannah, TN, Casey Basinger of Selmer, TN; three great grandchildren, Maylee Brooke Hunt of Savannah, TN, Piper Whitley of Selmer, TN, Alexis Basinger of Selmer, TN; two sisters, Alice Browder of Selmer, TN, Betty Franks and husband Ottie Franks; a brother, Troy Dunaway and wife Marilyn Dunaway of Selmer, TN and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Basinger was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Sue King, Jean Ruth Huggins; four brothers, Wilburn Dunaway, Ralph Dunaway, Charles Dunaway, and Billy Dunaway.
