Kathy Wagoner was born January 9, 1950 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late J P Martin and Demovah Gilchrist Martin. After graduating Adamsville High School, she attended the Beautician School in Selmer, TN. She was a hairdresser for 50 years and was dedicated to her clients.
Kathy entered into marriage with James Lynn Wagoner on February 5, 1966, creating a bond that stood the test of time. Her dedication to the West Shiloh Baptist Church in Stantonville, TN was unwavering, especially seen through her role as a devoted children’s Sunday School Teacher for over four decades.
Kathy’s enjoyed cooking meals for her family and friends, shopping, dinner outings with friends, babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enthusiastically participating in all the activities that involved her beloved grandchildren.
Her gentle spirit and affection touched the hearts of all who knew her. Kathy had an extraordinary capacity to love unconditionally and without boundaries, leaving an indelible mark on each life she encountered.
Mrs. Wagoner departed this life on July 26, 2024 in Stantonville, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 6 Months, 17 Days.
She is survived by her husband, James Lynn Wagoner of Stantonville, TN; son, Jeff Lynn Wagoner and wife Windie; three grandchildren: Hannah Boehler and husband Matt of Ramer, TN, Noah Ethan Martin of Adamsville, TN, Jennifer Johnston and husband Tyler of Kossuth, MS; five great grandchildren: Anniston Boehler, Allyn Boehler, Ava Boehler, Avery Rencher, Amery Rencher; two sisters, Ann Kirk of Memphis, TN, Lavenia Davidson and husband Hardy of Savannah, TN; a brother, Jimmy Paul Martin and wife Mae of Ramer, TN; son-in-law, Ray Martin and wife Misty; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wagoner was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Wagoner Martin.
