Funeral services for Kathy Sue Hallman, age 66, of Ashland will be held Wednesday February 16, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Newborn officiating. Burial will follow in the Lystra Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Hallman passed away Thursday February 10, 2022 at the Clay County Hospital. Mrs. Hallman was born in Sylacauga, but lived most of her life in Clay County. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed gardening, fishing and horses.
Mrs. Hallman is survived by her husband, Wendell Smith; two sons: Kenneth Ray Hallman (Tiffany), and Timothy Lee Hallman (Tasha), all of Ashland; 14 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren; one brother, Tony Lee Robertson (Tracy) of Ashland, plus a large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Ernest Lee Robertson and Mattie Grace White; one brother, Wayne Robertson, and one infant sister.
Pallbearers will be J.J. Mitchell, Dalton Hallman, Payton Hallman, Cody Harris, Jake Hosmer, Johnny Mitchell, and Ray Hallman.
Her visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and up until service time at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
