Kathy Diane Wilson Malone, Age 74, of Huntsville, Alabama and Tampa, Florida went home to heaven on May 28th, 2024. Beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend, Kathy grew up in old town Huntsville and attended Holmes Street Methodist Church for many years. She graduated from The University of Alabama with her Masters Degree in Home Economics.
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Malone, parents, Buddy Wilson and Katherine Milner Wilson; sister, Rita McClendon and brother Wendell Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa, son Eric, and grandson Oberyn Thomas. Brother, Dr. David Wilson (Lou) of Oneonta. Sisters, Janice Renfroe of Brownsboro; Beth Carter (Jonathan) of Gadsden; several nieces and nephews and her mini goldendoodle, Layla.
Visitation hour and service will be held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024, starting at 2pm at Spry Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held directly after the service at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. David Wilson officiating.
