Kathy Diane Lee Simmons age 69, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at her residence. She was born on October 21, 1955 to Floyd and Caroyn Lee. Kathy loved drawing, painting and reading. She will be deeply missed by many. Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. A service will be held on Sunday, December 15, at 1:00 p.m. Brother Lynn Simmons will officiate. Kathy is survived by her husband, Michael Chane Simmons; daughter, Brandy (James) Liverett; grandchildren, Sean Austin Lee, Mathew Lee, Bradley Lee, Kennedy White, Savannah Shaylee Liverett, James Dalton Liverett; a host of nieces and nephews; and special nieces, Elizabeth Carson and Hannah Farley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willliam Floyd Lee and Elizabeth Carolyn Woods Lee; son, Larry Damon Lee; sister, Peggy Joyce Lee.
