Kathy Cagle Mitchell Duskin, 67, of Vinemont, Alabama, passed away at her home, on Sunday morning, May 22, 2022, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Kathy was born, in Cullman County, on September 11, 1954, to Doyle and Ola Mae Crocker Cagle.
Mrs. Duskin was a hard worker. She most recently worked, over thirteen years, in the assembly department of a local automotive distributor. She enjoyed cooking and traveling. Kathy had a very loving heart. Her love for people was evident in the kindness she showed to everyone she met. She also loved her family and enjoyed her children and grandchildren immensely. Kathy and her loving husband, J.D., were members of Bethel Baptist Church, where they enjoyed worshiping with friends and neighbors. Mrs. Duskin’s life impacted many people, and her kindness and love will be missed by many.
Mrs. Duskin is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Cagle; and sister, Lola Mae Peak.
She is survived by her husband of over twenty years, J.D. Duskin; sons, Christopher Mitchell (Brandy), Timothy Mitchell (Brittany); daughters, Paula Hallbauer (Steve), Regina Krapf (Steve); grandchildren, Brody Mitchell, Lexi Jacobs, Ashton Mitchell, Olivia Thomas, Cameron Baber, Camden Humanes, Cara Humanes, Noah Hallbauer, Brantley Jacobs, Decland Hallbauer, Landon Mitchell, Brielle Mitchell, Clayton Prince, Steve Krapf, Jr., Ricky Humanes (Adele), Parker Peterson; sisters, Lora Brown, Ella Gail Quattlebaum (Tim); and sister-in-law, Paulette Denney.
Funeral services for Mrs. Duskin are 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Tommy Blackwood officiating. Burial will follow services in Zion Grove Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family, at the funeral home, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 11 a.m., until services begin at 1 p.m.
