Kathryn Louise Childers, 57, of Iuka, MS, passed to eternal life on March 16, 2016, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. She was born July 18, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois to Flora Lee Walker Childers Bellavia and Hobert Childers. While challenged by physical and medical issues throughout her life, Kathy had a sweet, loving spirit and was a gift from God to all who knew and met her. She was the beneficiary of love and care from her mother, sisters, church family, and special caregivers. She enjoyed the fellowship of her fellow workers and teachers at Tishomingo Industries. Kathy had a love of dolls that was exhibited in an extensive collection. Funeral Mass services, officiated by Father Mario Solorzano, will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church in Iuka on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 11 a.m. Visitation for friends will be two hours before Mass on Saturday. Interment will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers include Billy Horne, Jeremy Pittman, and her nephews. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by three sisters: Sharlene Grisham (Robert) and Mary Childers Horne, both of Iuka, and Patricia Cox (Billy) of Athens, AL; one aunt, Betty Bullard of Iuka; eight nephews: Josh, Seth, and Ethan Grisham; Brandon, Chris, and Joey Horne; Brantley and Bryce Cox; and grand nephews and grand nieces: Sara, Emily, and Effie Grisham; and Damien, Serenity, Gavyn and Kaylee Horne.
