Mrs. Kathryn L. Tull, age 56, of Silerton, departed this life Monday evening, August 24, 2015 at her home.
The wife of Larry W. Tull, who survives, she worked as an office clerk for various finance companies and had worked with the bankruptcy court. One of her most enjoyable jobs was working in the bakery department of Wal-Mart South in Jackson. She was born September 6, 1958, in Abilene, Texas, the daughter of Charles Vernon Beckham of Nacogdoches, Texas and the late Amanda Dee Nelson Beckham and lived in Texas until 1997 when she moved to this area. A US Air Force veteran, she served for 2 years and her family states that she was ‘always a warrior for herself and anyone else’. She was a volunteering member of the Patriot Guard Riders and was active in Camp Bluebird for the past four years. She married her life partner, Larry W. Tull, on October 27, 1979 and dearly loved her family. She was a Boston Terrior afficionado, doting for the past 6 years on her special child, ‘Mikie’, and was a member of Woodville Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and her father, survivors include a daughter, Cassandra Tull Reeder of Dyersburg; a son, Patrick Tull of Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Vanesssa Gustafson of Nacogdoches, TX and Dottie Smith of Meeker, OK; a brother, Tim Beckham of Lufkin, TX; five grandchildren, Katrina Ann Tull, Jonathan Howell, Makayla Reeder, Allyson and Clayton Sandifer. She was preceded in death by her mother, her grandparents, Edna Mae Nelson and A. A. “Lex” Nelson and her mother in law, Marguarite Netzer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Mrs. Tull’s name be made to the American Cancer Society, Susan G.
