A Celebration of Life Service for Kathryn “Kathy” Fowler will be 2pm Wednesday, December 27,2023 at Church of the Crossroads with burial to follow at Brigman Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time at the church. Bro. Eddie McFalls and Bro. Tommy Shavers will officiate the service.
Kathy passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Kathy’s love was cooking, serving others, loving her family, but most of all was serving the Lord in her daily walk. She never met a stranger and some of the names that were given to her were “Card a week Kathy” and “Chatty Kathy.” She loved big with a humble and gracious heart.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Henry Story and Jennette Story and father-in-law, Bobby Fowler.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Glenn Fowler; daughter, Kristen Fowler; sons, Hunter Fowler (Molly) and John Burke “JB” Fowler; sister, Kim Wallace (Ray); aunt, Gail Doty (Joe), mother-in-law, Nelda Fowler; sister-in-laws, Sonya Lambert (Jamie) and Tammy Hartnell (Lynn); special family, Winford and Sharon McGeehee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
