Kathleen Whitten O’Bryant – Obituary

 Kathleen Whitten O’Bryant, 85, of Florence, AL passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012. She was a native and lifelong resident of Lauderdale Co and was a graduate of Central High School.  After many years of service she retired from Tee Jays Manufacturing.  She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church where she was involved in the Circle of Hope.

  Visitation will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held Friday, October 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel the Rev. Mike Nash and Rev. Tommy James officiating.  Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren O’Bryant; parents, Robert and Mittie Whitten; sisters, Gladys Linville and Pauline Wright; cousin, Elizabeth Hayes.
 Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Neal (Tony) and Judy Mims; brother, RC Whitten; grandchildren, Chad Neal (Rebecca), Cody Neal (Brittney) and Haley Cook; great-grandchildren, Alyson and Brody Neal; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
  Pallbearers will be Chad Neal, Cody Neal, Ryan Montgomery, Roy King, Eb Thomas and Bobby Linville.  Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Peck, Trey King and Michael Davis.
  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Felix Morris, Dr. Mitch Bowen and the staff at Hilltop Assisted Living.
