Kathleen Watson Hendon age 81 of Florence passed away at her home, Monday October 8, 2012. Visitation will be Wednesday from Noon till 2pm at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. Service will be at 2pm in the Chapel with Bro Tommy James and Bro Gene Richey officiating. Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family members. Kathleen lived in Florence all of her life where she was married to her husband Charles “Bud” for 63 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Florence. Kathleen loved everyone and enjoyed being with people and seeing old friends, especially from the Sweetwater community. She is survived by her husband Charles “Bud” of Florence; her son, David Hendon and daughter-in-law Pam of Sheffield; grandson Corey Hendon and wife Kelly; great grandson, Casey of Athens; Sister, Aileen Coats and husband Cody of Florence, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Maggie Watson, several brothers and sisters and a grand daughter Jeannine Noel Hendon.
