Mrs. Kathleen Sullivan, 96, passed away Saturday July 2, 2016 at her home with her family near. She was born in Van Buren County on January 12, 1920 to Charlie and Cleo Wilson Shockley who preceded her in death along with her, Husband, Dewey Sullivan; son, Carl Sullivan; daughter, Nadine Wilson; sisters, Charlie Mae Walling, Delma Shockley and Lorene Clendenon; brothers, James and Loyd Shockley; grandsons, Gary Wayne Scott, Larry Lynn Russell and Carl Dewey Sullivan.
She is survived by her sons, Charles (Debora), Calvin (Phyllis) and Carson Sullivan; daughters, Faye Scott, Linda (Larry) Russell, Carolyn (Bill) Bouldin, Gaye Sullivan, Margie (Billy) Chandler and Patricia Sullivan; 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday in the Layne Funeral Home chapel with Ministers, Darrell Nance and Wayne Sullivan officiating with burial to follow in the Malloy Cemetery.
