Kathleen McMeans, 67 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, January 24th, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. McMeans was born on June 5th, 1955, in Athens, to Harold and Doris Ryan.
Mrs. McMeans is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gary McMeans; daughter Laney Mitchell (Billy) of Elora, TN; grandchildren Addisyn, Lexi, and Mila; and sister Mary Beth Hamilton, of Athens.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother Robert Ryan.
Funeral services for Mrs. McMeans will be Friday, January 27th, 2023, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Steve Dorning, Doug Fields, and Greg Greene officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00am-1:50pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Sam McMeans, Jimmy McMeans, Brad McMeans, Michael Bates, Charlie McMeans, and Roger Miller.
Mrs. McMeans was of the Methodist faith at Friendship Methodist Church.
