Kathleen McKay Dillon, age 77, of Bon Secour, Alabama, formerly of Pelham, Alabama, Guin, Alabama, and Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Sunday, July 27th, 2014.
Graveside service, 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 31st, 2014, at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.
She was an avid collector and dealer of antiques and collectables, a birding enthusiast, and loved gardening. She was an animal lover, both domestic and wild, and was a supporter of the Alabama Wildlife Center. She was a graduate of Marion County High School and Massey Business College. She worked for Service Bureau Corp. and Innovative Underwriters.
She is survived by her husband, John Wager Dillon Jr. of Bon Secour, AL.; 1 daughter, Jan Dillon of Bon Secour, AL.; and a brother, Doug McKay of Valley, AL.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Sally McKay Dillon; 1 brother,Kermit McKay; and her parents, Pete McKay and Effie Hughes McKay.
The family asks that donations be made to the Alabama Wildlife Center.
