Kathleen M. Codding, age 81, of Decatur, who died Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at her residence, was born on April 1st 1935, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Lenore and Maurice Fogarty. She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell LeRoy Codding.
She is survived by her 3 children: Pamela Codding Wood (Mike), John Ward Codding (Stacy) and Jeffery Michael Codding (Carol); 6 grandchildren: Michael Brett Wood (Kate), Maggie Wood Lewis (Mitchell), Lauren Elizabeth Codding, Jennifer Leigh Codding, Katherine Keeton Herbert and Abigail Lynn Codding. Mrs. Codding is also survived by 5-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will have a celebration of life on Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at her home, 2305 Burningtree Dr. Decatur, Al. 35603.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Hospice of the Valley.
