Kathleen “Kitty” W. York went to be with the Lord, June 15, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, David L. York. She leaves behind a daughter, Phyllis Y. Mims and son-in-law, Rick Mims; grandson, David R. Mims (Lindsay); great-grandson, Greyson; and twin great-granddaughters, Adelynne and Blake.
Dave & Kitty were residents of Fort Payne for over 45 years. They were active in and proud of their church, First Methodist Church. They are sorely missed but will never be forgotten by the family that loves them.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the Glenwood Cemetery.
