Funeral services for Kathleen Holladay Anders will be Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Peck Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 11:30 to 1:00. Burial will take place at McKendree Cemetery in the Massey Community. She passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at her residence in Hartselle at the age of 90. Ms. Anders was born August 17, 1933 to Marvin W. and Daisy Ellen Townsend Holladay in Morgan County, AL. She worked at Copeland in manufacturing prior to retiring.
She loved gardening, needle work, crocheting and was very popular for baking pies and her banana pudding. She was dearly loved by her family & friends and will be sorely missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Esmer Lee Anders, Sr; son, Esmer Lee Anders, Jr; and sister, Alice Marie (Holladay) Livingston.
She is survived by her three daughters: Tamie Prater of Hartselle, Olivia Miller (Greg) of Decatur
and Paula Guthrie (Roy) Hartselle.
Fourteen grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren
