Kathleen Grigsby Phillips, 90, of Rogersville, passed peacefully, October 9, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Rogersville where she sang in the choir and cared for many babies in the nursery. She loved to spend time sewing, cooking and laughing and sharing childhood memories with family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, October 11th, at Rogersville Funeral Home from noon till 2 p.m. with the funeral service following.
Mrs. Phillips is preceded by her husband of 66 years, Gary Phillips; parents Ned & Icephene Grigsby; son, Eddie Phillips. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Flynn; daughter-in-law, Sherrie Phillips Grose (Brian); granddaughters, Kyann Flynn, Emily Flynn (David) and Krishna Gehrs (Michael); great-grandsons, Drew Hart (Chassidy), Owen Gehrs and Liam Gehrs; sisters, Doris Jackson & Merle Mann; special family, Mike, Diane and Casey Bloodworth.
