Kathleen Ann Bishop, age 73, a resident of Columbia, formerly of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024.
A celebration of life will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on January 24, 1950, in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, Kathleen was the daughter of the late John Michael Connor and the late Mildred Dorneman Connor.
Kathleen loved visiting Pensacola Beach and writing poetry. She always had a joke on hand and possessed a great sense of humor. She enjoyed playing Trivial Pursuit, reading, and was also an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast. She was of the Catholic faith.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Morris L. Bishop, Jr., children, Christopher Morris Bishop of Franklin, Melissa (Ted) LaForest of Columbia, Leslie Bishop of Franklin, brothers, John (Rosalind) Connor of Chattanooga, Dennis Connor of Clinton, mother-in-law, Vermelle Bishop of Chattanooga, grandchildren, Kristen LaForest, Sarah (Brandon) Baker, Chase LaForest, Caitlin (Andrei) Dennis, Cole (Morgan) Bishop, Will Bishop, one great-granddaughter on the way in June, niece, Sally Connor, and nephews, Jack (Megan) Connor, III and D.J. (Rachel) Connor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael William Bishop.
