Mrs. Kathey Hammett Garlowich, age 75, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at 2 o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Brad Howard and Bro. Tony Gunter officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. A visitation will be on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Garlowich was born in Boaz, Alabama on September 6, 1949, to Eddie & Lorene Turner Hammett. She retired for the Department of Human Resources.
Mrs. Garlowich is survived by her Husband: Tony Garlowich of Boaz, Step-Son: Anthony Garlowich, Jr. & Jackie of Fairview, Step-Daughter: Amy Silvers & Joey of Georgia, Grandchildren: Dylan Davenport, Issac Garlowich and Isabelle Garlowich, Great Grandchild: Grayson Davenport, Sister: Judy Darnell of North Carolina, Brother: Charles Hammett & Janet of Birmingham, Brother-in-Law: Steve Johnson of Boaz, Special cousins: Karen Nelson and Linda Snyder, and many beloved nieces and nephews, and a host of special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Eddie & Lorene Hammett, Brothers: Max Hammett and Terry Hammett and Sister: Genny Johnson and Brother-in-Law: Floyce Darnell.
The family is thankful for the help and support of Hospice with special thanks to Lindsay Martin, Christie Potridge, and Connie Snead.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
