Katherine Marie Thompson, age 65 of Tullahoma, went to be with Jesus and her groom on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna. She was born on November 3, 1958, in Winchester to the late Harold and Verna Mae (Gipson) Stevens. Before her retirement, Katherine Marie had been employed as a manager at Wal-Mart. She was an avid University of Tennessee Volunteers football fan and enjoyed working puzzles, fishing, playing Bingo, and watching Netflix. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family. A devoted Christian, she attended the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Thompson; brother, Jimmy Stevens; and sister, Teresa Morrison. Katherine Marie is survived by her loving children, Jeremy (Lesley) Stevens, Eric (Katrina) Thompson, Brittany (Josh) Tatum, Jami Thompson, Kenny (Debra) Thompson, and Rebecca (Derrick) Crutchfield; grandchildren, , Kirsten Stevens, Calah Stevens, Macy Sons, Brelee Sons, Alexis Tatum, Reneeā Tatum, Harper Grace Tatum, Keith Thompson, Josh Thompson, Jessica Robinson, Nicholas Thompson, Tyce Thompson, Michael Palmer, and Samaris Morgan; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Ricky Stevens, Joy (Leon) Taylor, Phil (Jennifer) Stevens, and Tayna (Junior) Stevens; grand-pups, Sadie and Ollie; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be from 11am-2pm on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
