Mrs. Katherine Norma Brewer Scarantino departed this life on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 2 Months, 19 Days. She was born September 5, 1940 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Dock and Oma Smith Brewer. In addition to her parents, Mrs Scarantino was preceded in death by brothers, Condred Brewer, Elliot Brewer, Hassell Brewer, Carmack (Goody) Brewe and, Cranston Brewer; sisters, Christine Lindsey, Alora (Brewer) Seger and Cleta Brewer.
Mrs. Norma was a store clerk with K- Mart and later years cared for the elderly. She was a member of the Green River Baptist Church , Waynesboro, Tennessee and was involved with the Senior Citizens.
Survivors; brothers, Bobby Brewer of Hohenwald, TN, E.J. Brewer and Bill Brewer both of Waynesboro, TN;
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 26, 5:00-9:00 pm and on Wednesday, November 27, 8:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home.
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton and Jeff Styles officiating. Burial will follow in Highland United Methodist Church Cemetery , Lawrenceburg, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
