Katherine Leigh Ann (Katie) Kimes, age 26, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Friday, May 31, 2024, at her residence leaving behind her husband, Addie Kimes.
Katie was born August 19, 1997, in Columbia, Tennessee, to the late Tony Davenport and Kathy Whitsett McCullough who survives. She was a Merchandising Manager for Sassy’s Boutique and the Hospitality Coordinator for Lewisburg Destiny Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jerry Whitsett and paternal grandfather, Charles Davenport.
She is survived by her husband, Addie Kimes; parents, Kathy and Joe McCullough of Lewisburg; brother, Dillon (Kaylin) Davenport of Cornersville; sister, Lindsey McCullough of Chapel Hill; maternal grandmother, Peggy Whitsett of Lewisburg; paternal grandmother, Vivian Adams of Florida; mother and father in law, Jacky and Alice Anne Cain Kimes of Cookeville; brother in law, Trey Kimes of Cookeville; grandparents in law, Vicki and Steve Cain of Lewisburg and Tracy and Kathy Daugherty of Cookeville.
Visitation with the family will be held at Lifesong Church, 1041 S. Ellington Pkwy, Lewisburg, Tennessee, Friday, June 7, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 9:00 am until the funeral hour.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 11:00 am at Lifesong Church with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House in her memory.
