Katherine Couch Clem, 92 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Clem was born on July 9th, 1931, in Morgan County, Alabama, to Willie and Leila Mirandy Couch.
Mrs. Clem is survived by her children Patsy C. Ruf, Kathy C. Jones, Fred B. Clem, and Corwin G. Clem; 10 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband Fred B. Clem, Sr.
A graveside service for Mrs. Clem will be on Friday, December 8th, 2023, at 2:00pm at Roselawn Cemetery, with Tony Wales officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11:30am to 1:30pm, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Michael Jones, Daniel Jones, Justin Clem, Davy Ruf, Fred B. Clem, III, and Will Clem. Jordan Clem will be an honorary pallbearer.
Mrs. Clem was a faithful member of Elkton Road Baptist Church. She was a dedicated military wife, having made many moves. She was a retired nurse of Athens Limestone Hospital. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
