Katherine Busby Maulden, 82, of Fort Payne, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at her home. She was born in Collinsville, Alabama on August 2, 1939 to the late Joe L. and Imodelle Fountain Busby. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Monday at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Shaunthan Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Adamsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.and on Monday at Liberty Hill Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to the 12 noon hour of service.
The family asks that masks be worn at all times.
She is survived her children Tony Chesser (Vickey), Connie Brown (Richard), and Dena Ann Battenberg (Bruce); the father of her children Curtis Chesser; brother Larry Joe Busby (Marion); grandchildren Christopher, Heather, Nicole, and Peyshance; and great-grandchildren Ariana, Ella, Michael, Matthew, and Mason; niece Christina; and nephews Bradly and James Jr.
She was preceded in death by her sister Faye Templeton; niece Elizabeth; and husband A.T. Jones.
