Kasonna Lyvette Scruggs, age 45, of Florence, passed away April 18, 2023. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Gary Roach officiating. Burial will be at Bailey Chapel Cemetery in Killen. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Ms. Scruggs was preceded in death by her brother, Gabe Carter; grandmother, Betty White; and grandfather, Harry Hampton, Jr.
Survivors include her mother, Phillette Hampton; siblings, Cory Hampton (Sarah), Marcus Carter, Deondre Hampton, and Kiwana Scrugg Southern (Harry); God-daughter, Nylah Carter; and many loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She loved baking and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed going to church with her mother.
