Karol Kozakiewicz, 81 of Athens, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Kozakiewicz was born June 19, 1939 in Vilnius, Poland to Waclaw Kozakiewicz and Waclawa Kozakiewicz.
He is survived by his wife, Bozena Mioduszewski Kozakiewicz; son, Karol Kozakiewicz; daughters, Malgorzata Moses and Beata Kozakiewicz; grandchildren, Kristopher Higgins, Mia Davis, Izabela Moses, Sebastian Moses and Sabrina Moses; sister, Anna Rutkowska.
Preceded in death by his brothers, Ryszard Kozakiewicz and Lucjan Kozakiewicz.
Funeral services for Mr. Kozakiewicz will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Father Tom John officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
