Karen Yvette Ege, 45, of Hazel Green passed away Sunday at a local hospital. Karen was preceded in death by her mother: Sandra and sister: Karla. Survivors include Jay Smith; her father: John; her daughters: Elizabeth, Emily and Jennifer and her grandchildren: Hunter and McKenzie. The family will receive friends Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel memorial service Thursday at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. Billy Gene Moore officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
