Karen Suzanne Timbs, 58, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Tupelo, MS to Harold and Sherry Sartain Oswalt. She owned and operated Belmont Florist and was employed at Tiffin Motor Homes in Customer Relations. Karen was a member of Liberty Church of Christ.
Services will be Friday, November 3, 4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with David Conley and Bro. Barry Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children, Justin Timbs (Kaila) and Anna Timbs; a grandson, Jackson Timbs; a nephew, Dillon Oswalt; a great-nephew, Rylee Oswalt; two great-nieces, Ava and Hadley Oswalt; her step-mother, Linda Oswalt and two uncles, James Estes Sartain (Brenda) and Stephen Sartain (Deb).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Timbs, her parents, a brother, Keith Oswalt and grandparents, Mack and Dorothy Fay “Dot” Sartain.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Bennett, Daniel Mann, Blake Oaks, Brandon Pharr, Josh Brown and Zach Lindsey.
Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 1-4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
