Karen Suzanne Carter, 69, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on November 14th, 2023, in the loving care of her family.
Suzanne was born in Huntsville, Alabama, on November 25th, 1953, to Roy Houston Baker and Carolyn Baker. She grew up in Huntsville and attended Butler High School. She was a graduate of Calhoun and worked as a registered nurse for Huntsville Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Ashlee Gatlin-Young (husband, Tyler); two sons, Hustion (wife, Kristi) and Evan (wife, Chelsea); three granddaughters, Ella, Abigail, and Josephine; grandson, Carter; sister, Lori Knight (husband, Dean); brother, Rodney Baker (wife, Jeanna); numerous nephews and nieces; and her best friend, a corgi named Gabby.
Suzanne enjoyed working in her yard, spending time with her family, and attending Capshaw Baptist Church.
