Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Karen Dianne Perry Goines, age 69 of Cowan. Mrs. Goines passed away at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester Wednesday April 28, 2021 following a lengthy illness while surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Karen was born July 30, 1951 in Franklin County to Harvey L. Perry, Sr. and Florence Wilder Perry. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Anthony L. Goines and a nephew, Greg “Bugs” Crownover. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly D. Powers and Stacey Archey, both of Winchester; mother, Florence W. Finney of Cowan; sister, Sherrie (Terry) Harrell of Winchester; brother, Harvey (Debbie) Perry, Jr. of Eagleville; grandchildren, Shae (Travis) Taylor, Ethan Davis and Sidda Powers, all of Winchester; great-grandchildren, Denver Taylor, Ryder and Kingston Davis; niece Shelly Crownover. She also leaves very special family friends, Sandra Parke of Decherd and Kay Hill May of Winchester. She loved hiking, floating the river and all things summer. Family and friends will gather at Watson-North Funeral Home Saturday May 8, 2021 between the hours of 4 and 6 p.m. to celebrate the life of Karen, after which her earthly remains will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Watson-North Memorial Park.
