Karan Alicia Weaver Ennis, age 52, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, September 25, 2020, at 10:00 AM at the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN, with Bro. Tim Smartt officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in Gates, TN. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Karan was born on April 22, 1968 to George Weaver and Mary Massey, who precede her in death. She was a Christian and was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She loved taking photographs and reading and found great pleasure in visiting the mountains. She loved her family and grandchildren and lived her life for her boys. Some of the best moments in life were sitting on the front porch drinking coffee. She is survived by three sons, Clinton Weaver (Lisa) of Temple, TX, Clayton Weaver of Ripley, TN, and Carlton Ennis of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Ray Weaver of Horn Lake, MS and George Weaver of Oilton, OK, five sisters, Elayne Brown, Alta Vista, KS, Brenda O’Daniel, Somerville, TN, Judy Weaver, Wagoner, OK, Terry Weaver, Lehigh Acres, FL, Linda Weaver, Horn Lake, MS, two grandchildren, Corbyn Weaver & Caliyah Weaver. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Maranatha Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 52 Woodville Rd, Ripley, TN 38063. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
