K. D. Walls, age 81, of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at his home.
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. David Lackey, Rev. Kenneth Lasseter and Rev. Randy Peppers will officiate. Pallbearers will be Doug McWhorter, Donald Wiggins, Brent Naylor, Benny Coby, Trey Ayers and John Kelley. Honorary pallbearers will be Books of the Bible Sunday School Class at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 until 8.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Walls, daughter, Kimberly Jenkins (Wade), sisters and brother, Yvonne McCormick (Nolan), Carolyn Fanchier, Robert Walls and Gertrude Luken (Jim), a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Leona Walls, sister, Naomi Clemons and brother, David Walls.
Mr. Walls was retired from United Insurance Company and Flowers Bakery.
