Justin “Spanky” Dickson, age 42, of Summertown, TN passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, in Summertown, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, a history buff, loved hunting and fishing, and all things weapons and military.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Albert and Ruby Dickson and Betty Smith.
He is survived by his parents, Danny and Judy Smith Dickson of Summertown, TN; his son, Hudson Dickson of Mt. Pleasant, TN; his brother, John Dickson (Crystle) of Lawrenceburg, TN; his grandfather, William “Bill” Smith; his ex-wife, Jenny Lynn Norman Dickson of Mt. Pleasant, TN; his ex-in-laws, Don and Jeanette Norman of Mt. Pleasant, TN; his nephews, William Dickson, Mac Dickson, Jackson Dickson, and Jake Flippo; his niece, Tatum Niedergeses; his girlfriend, Angela Kittrell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and Chasity Dickson.
Those serving as pallbearers, Kris Smith, Michael Smith, Ethan Smith, Drew Smith, Chris Perkins, Kevin Perkins, and Josh Freeman. Also serving as honorary pallbearers are Michael Waldrop and Scott Howell.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2025, with Nathan Duncan and Jeff Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Freedom Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, TN.
